A 1930 Spanish duplex sans most of the detailing oddly becomes more Morroccan. We continued removing the rest of the too-worn-for-wear mouldings, nooks and a few walls and doors.
To enhance this new sense of openness we painted all walls and ceilings Benjamin Moore’s China White with Revere Pewter matte trim, neutralized the original oak flooring with a subtle driftwood stain and let the art and furnishings color the space.
